Vermont Shepherd is a sheep milk cheese made in Vermont, United States. The cheese is made from the milk of grass-fed sheep and is aged for a minimum of six months. Vermont Shepherd cheese pairs well with fruits, such as pears and apples, as well as with nuts, such as walnuts and pecans. It can also be paired with honey and jams.
